Experience Winter Trail Running/Snowshoeing - Join Susan and Ian as they introduce you to Winter trail running on some awesome CNP trails. The weather will determine where we will run and whether we’ll run in studded shoes or snowshoes. No trail running experience is needed. We will meet at a different location each week. Chair Yoga - In this yoga class, poses are done seated on a chair or the chair is used for support during standing poses. This class is designed for people with balance and mobility limitations. Suitable for seniors (men and women!) and women during pregnancy. All levels welcome.
Strength & Core Yoga - This class will combine slow, flowing movement with long holds to build core, leg and upper body strength. A focus on healthy alignment and proper form in all poses will bring you results. Expect to challenge yourself to your ability but we will always end class with stretching and relaxation. All levels welcome.
Relax & Renew Yoga - Indulge in the ultimate yoga experience! Let us guide you through a series of restful poses using yoga props for support. Most poses will be seated or lying down. All levels welcome.
Noon Yoga - Taught in vinyasa (flow) style, this class will offer modifications to satisfy beginners and seasoned yogis alike. The perfect mid-day break that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of your day. All levels welcome.
Fit4U Exercise Class - Get strong, get fast, get flexible! Exercise variety is important and we offer a different class format every week: Circuit Training, HIIT (high intensity interval training), and instructor lead exercise. Cardio, strength, balance, stretching….this class has it all. All levels welcome.
Gentle Yoga - Designed for those who are newer to yoga or wanting a gentler practice. Through demonstration, discussion, and guided practice, we will explore healthy alignment and basic poses. All levels welcome.
Quick Strength for Runners Exercise Class - Fit this class into your weekly training schedule to help stay injury-free. Roll to release muscle tension, strengthen using weights and body weight to improve core stability, and stretch to increase flexibility. We will focus on proper form. You don’t need to be a runner to attend! Cyclists, walkers, skiers, and hockey players…anyone who is active and fit will benefit.
Quiet your Mind “Yoga for Mental Wellness” - This class is designed to help those who are experiencing less than optimal mental health: depression, anxiety, chronic stress, chronic pain, grief, insomnia, ect. Through very gentle yoga movements and focusing on BREATH, you will work to improve your mental and physical health. Pre-registration recommended but drop-ins are welcome too. No yoga experience necessary. There is no cost to attend this class.
Bender Ball Exercise Class - Discover the benefits of small ball (Bender Ball) training and learn core stabilization exercises that will challenge you at an appropriate level. Lunges, squats, planks, pushups, leg lifts, back strengthening all made fun! Really! Bring a Bender Ball if you own one however we have some to loan or purchase as well. All levels welcome. Pre-register please.
Weekend Warrior Yoga - Variety is the spice of life and this class is all about mixing it up! Instructors and teaching styles will change weekly.
