Product description for Patagonia M WIND SHIELD PANTS, Black Pants Male
The M Wind Shield Pants by PATAGONIA provide lightweight, soft-shell protection during high-aerobic, cold-weather activities while still allowing excess heat and moisture to escape through strategically placed breathable panels.
The M Wind Shield Pants by PATAGONIA serve the high-output athlete whether Nordic skiing, winter cycling or running in freezing temps. They’re lightweight, soft-shell running pants that wick, stretch, breathe and protect. The fabric warms throughout, with the front and the complete lower legs using 100% recycled polyester laminated to a stretchy and breathable windproof film. The upper back half (knees to waist) is hybridized with an un-laminated, stretchy, wicking 85% polyester AND 15% elastane jersey fabric.
Details include an elastic waist (with strong drawcord), zippered hand pockets and zippered cuff openings with a snap closure for ease of pulling-on over shoes or Nordic boots. Reflective elements at front-left hip and behind both knees.
It also features a Polygiene® permanent odor control and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
Polygiene® odor control permanently protects your garments from smelling like a middle school locker room. Sweat itself is odorless, but it creates the conditions that bacteria need to multiply, and some of those bacteria produce odors. Polygiene permanent odor control stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, so you can wear more and wash less. Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene permanent odor control does not interfere with perspiration or with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Polygiene particles are more than 100 times larger than nanoparticles and therefore are too large to penetrate to the skin’s barrier. Polygiene-treated fabrics have received Medical Class 1 approval in Europe, the same class that includes bandages.
