Spirit7 OLX is a very light, studded shoe made for fast running in challenging terrain. The shoe has been developed together with the world’s top orienteerer, Tove Alexandersson, and with its low drop, unbeatable ground contact and 14 steel studs it is a real monster in the forest.
Spirit is a shoe made by orienteerers for orienteerers – and it has a long list of world championship medals to its name. The seventh version of the shoe has been developed in cooperation with the world’s top orienteerer, Tove Alexandersson, and it is now softer and more durable than ever. The grip is as good as it’s always been, and the combination of the pattern on the sole and the fixed steel studs means that you never have to think about where you put your feet.

Non absorbing materials gain very little weight when they get wet. Important for footwear used in wet condition activities where weight is a critical factor. Note that being non-absorbing does not mean that they keep the inside of the shoe dry.
Fixed studs, when slipping is not an option. We have set the standard for studded footwear and now OLX® continues this for trail running, OCR, and Orienteering. Made of carbide steel, which is 6-7 times harder than normal steel, these studs are virtually impossible to wear out. For trail running, we use our 'fixed' system which unlike our BUGrip® system, does not adjust to the surface. The benefit for trail running is that the studs are always exposed and provide grip on whatever surface they encounter. This allows us to make a thinner sole, which improves ground control and saves weight. OLX® is used exclusively in our summer trail, orienteering and OCR shoes.
