The IceHero 2 is VJ's most agile and responsive winter running shoe, designed for runners who want to take their cold-weather training to the next level, yet equally suited to more casual winter runs. It’s the first in their winter line to feature the new SuperFOAMance midsole, a hi-tech, ultralight nitrogen-infused foam that delivers exceptional cushioning and energy return. This supercritical foam is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable, and more propulsive than traditional EVA, while also being more durable and resistant to tearing. For added protection and efficiency, the midsole is paired with a rock plate that shields feet from sharp edges and protruding branches, increases torsional rigidity, and boosts energy transfer.

The Superior Contact outsole features 17 carbon steel, star-shaped studs that provide superior grip in slippery conditions. The water-resistant upper is light, breathable and durable one-piece upper. A light, breathable, and durable one-piece water-resistant upper works with the foot-shaped last to maximize comfort and performance. If you’re familiar with VJ's trail running shoes, the IceHero 2 is basically the MAXx2, but with starstuds for winter performance!
